Herts and Art

A monthly social group where individuals over 55 can come along and participate in a creative session for 90 mins, delivered by artists from Open Art Box. Residents and individuals from the community all welcome. Free of charge, funded by Arise of Hatfield.

Providing a positive and inclusive environment, attendees will have the opportunity to explore, experiment and experience new art processes. For example, drawing, painting, sculpture, textiles etc. Also looking at artists work as inspiration to learn new techniques and different way of working. The sessions will offer a unique and meaningful experience designed to connect, empower and enhance the well being and quality of life for attendees. Bringing people together through the joy and freedom of creativity in a relaxed and fun environment.

No Limits Music Fest 2025

“No Limits “a vibrant festival-themed music day, designed to bring people together for a fun, engaging, and inclusive experience.

The event is open to all members of the community offering an immersive festival atmosphere filled with live music, interactive activities, and opportunities to connect with local partners and services.

The Day…

1.         Live entertainment – four fantastic live singer acts, delivering a range of music styles to create an uplifting and enjoyable atmosphere.

2.         Compere – A charismatic host will guide the event, introducing acts, engaging the audience, and keeping the high energy.

3.         Festival face painter- attendees can embrace the festival spirit with colourful face painting designs.

4.         Photo Booth – A chance for attendees to capture memories with festival themed props and backdrop.

5.         Festival wrist bands- All attendees will receive a special event wristband featuring logos, adding to the authentic festival experience.

6.         Themed décor – bringing colour and vibrancy to the space.

7.         Buffet and refreshments – a selection of food and drinks will be available, ensuring attendees can relax and enjoy the event comfortably.

8.         Information stands- local organisations and partners will have stands where attendees can learn more about community support.

The event is open to all and committed to being fully inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to all attendees. Ensuring that everyone, regardless of age, ability, background, or circumstances, can participate in a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment.
