It provides self-contained one-bed units, over four storeys, for 28 residents with a learning disability. There is on site 24/7 care and support funded and provided by Hertfordshire County Council (HCC)
This scheme has 7 supported bed spaces for people with a learning disability who are supported by live-in carers employed by Mencap.
Situated within the historic village of Welwyn, Swan Field Court provides specialist support for older people with dementia. The development consists of 8 one-bed flats and 2 two-bed flats.
Due to the very specialist nature of this development the criteria for admission is subject to a joint decision making protocol between the Housing Association and Herts County Council's Specialist Mental Health Team for Older People (SMHTOP).
