Our Tenancy Sustainment Service is there for all residents who need a helping hand

We understand that life has its ups and downs.  We all sometimes need a little extra support to help us get back on track.

Our experienced Tenancy Sustainment Officers will work with you to provide tenancy advice tailored to your circumstances.  We place you at the heart of our approach, working with you to assess needs and provide options that will help.

Our services include

  • Help with managing finances, including budgeting , paying bills, benefit check, benefit appeals and maximising your income
  • Finding and applying for grants available in the local area to buy essential items
  • Helping with requests to move to a home more suitable to your needs
  • Offering referrals to our support service partners
  • Assistance with applications for Personal Independence Payments (PIPs).
  • Providing information about adaptations to allow you to live more independently and with peace of mind
  • Helping new residents to manage a tenancy 
  • Helping those moving home for personal safety reasons
  • Opportunities for greater involvement in decisions about your tenancy and support needs
  • Building understanding to avoid tenancy enforcement action

We have already supported many residents and our work has included

  • Successfully securing funding for white goods, carpet, etc.
  • Applying for Discretionary Housing Payments
  • Successful disability benefit applications
  • Requests to move to a more suitable home
  • Adaptations /sensory equipment to help residents live more independently with peace of mind
  • Working alongside residents and the Fire Service to improve safety in the home
